Of Christmas cheer and caramel

I think it has been well-established that I am possibly the worst blogger ever--but in a lame attempt to seem more industrious than I really am, I offer a few snaps of Christmas cheer, courtesy of a recent visit to the New York Botanical Garden.

It was pretty much impossible to remain curmudgeonly in the face of such unrelenting holiday spirit. I got so crazy I came home and made caramel from scratch!
